Important Request from Nancy Curry’s Office re Processing Payments

Over the course of the last few years, the office of Nancy Curry, Chapter 13 Trustee has learned that more often than not, debtors do not include their bankruptcy case numbers and/or other pertinent information our office needs in order to process the payments/documents in a timely manner. This has been an ongoing issue and does create significant delays in our office.

Therefore, in order to mitigate this issue, our office has developed downloadable cover sheets that the debtors may print out and complete and submit with their tax returns, tax refunds, bankruptcy plan payments, or other general bankruptcy documents submitted to our office. Furthermore, the cover sheets provide the debtor with instructions on how the items can be submitted to our office.

Earlier this year, I may have emailed you the aforementioned cover sheets; however, we recently updated them in order to allow debtors to provide us with their phone numbers and email addresses (if they have one). This information will be collected and input into our system in order to contact the debtor should any issues arise in the processing of their payments and/or documents.

NOTE: Please note that the use of these cover sheets are NOT required, but we strongly recommend they be used by the debtors. Debtor attorneys are also welcome to utilize the cover sheets, but again, they are not required to do so.

The cover sheets were created merely for informational purposes and to help our office process items received more quickly and efficiently. The newly updated cover sheets are attached below for your convenience, which you are welcome to forward on to your debtors.
